A spokesperson said: “We appreciate it’s not the clearest image but we hope someone will recognise him.
“We want to speak to him about a burglary at a home in Premier Avenue, Grays, at about 6pm on Tuesday 15 January, in which jewellery was stolen.
“Anyone who recognises him is asked to call PC James Gray in Grays CID on 101 quoting reference 42/8001/19”.
