EAST Thurrock earned three vital points in a victory against local rivals Billericay Town.

Goals by Ricky Hayles (12′ and 35′) secured the three points.

Billericay Town had opened the scoring through Adam Coombes (4′).

The result leaves East Thurrock in third from bottom, four points from safety.

They return to league action on Saturday away at Truro City.
