ESSEX Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a serious collision in Thurrock.
A blue motorbike and a white Volkswagen Crafter van were in collision on North Hill in Honrdon-on-the-Hill just after 9.35am this morning, 1 July.
The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 30s from Stanford-le-Hope, has been airlifted to hospital in life-threatening condition.
A 24-year-old man from Benfleet, who we believe was driving the van, has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Anyone who saw the collision, or either of the vehicles driving before the incident, is asked to call the Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101 and quote the incident number 344 of 1 July.
