AN investigation has been launched after a fire broke out in a school in South Ockendon.
A fire service spokesperson said: Called at 2.16am today (Tuesday 24 September) to reports of a fire in the open at Avon Green, South Ockendon
· On arrival crews confirmed that one portacabin was completely alight
· The fire was extinguished by 4.16am
· An investigation will take place today to establish the cause.
