POPULAR former Tilbury councillor, Clare Baldwin is set to stand again at the next round of local elections in May.
Ms Baldwin was a councillor for Tilbury Riverside and Thurrock Park between 2011 and 2019.
Now she has been selected for the ward of Tilbury St Chads. This ward may be much more to Ms Baldwin’s liking as she lives and works in the ward.
It may also make for a fascinating battle between Clare Baldwin and the incumbent, Thurrock Independent councillor, John Allen.
In her eight years as a councillor, Ms Baldwin may have courted controversy but she was much loved by her local residents who always felt she had their interests at heart.
