YOU can get into the Christmas spirit early with a trio of classic festive family films being screened at the Thameside Theatre on Saturday, 23 November.

As well as being family friendly with something for all ages to enjoy, the screenings are also excellent value costing just £1 for each ticket for both children and adults.

The series of films begins with Mickey’s Christmas Carol which is based on the Charles Dickens novel, only with a Disney twist. In dreary London, on Christmas Eve, miserly Scrooge goes to work in his counting house, where also resides his only employee, Bob Cratchit.

Then the coming of the dark, Jack Frost! He is the personification of winter, a human form of winter weather, so grab your woolly hats and scarfs and come to the theatre for a chilling experience.

Completing the trio, we have Elf, taking you on a journey to the North Pole where Buddy is raised as an Elf. Unable to shake that feeling he doesn’t fit in, Buddy travels to New York to find his real dad.

The full film times are:

Mickey’s Christmas Carol – 12pm, Cert U
Jack Frost – 2pm, Cert PG
Elf – 7pm, Cert PG
