THIS year, intu Lakeside have launched their brand new, Aurora Explorer Christmas Grotto. Shoppers are invited to come and meet Santa, whilst going on a magical journey guided by his Aurora Elves.
Located in The Quay, head to the grotto to be greeted by an Aurora Elf, who will take visitors on an enchanted experience through the ice caves. They will meet a friendly reindeer and a group of elves who help children to find out what type of Aurora Explorer they are. They will step into the crystal cave, to see which colour aura has been chosen for them and whether they are a Wish Gatherer, Star Spotter or Joy Bringer. Visitors will continue their journey through the Tundra Tunnel and on to their one-to-one visit with Santa.
There are opportunities to pose at selfie spots and have a professional photo with Santa; which will be available to purchase in a variety of different festive keepsakes.
