Essex Swimming Championships: Thurrock Swimmers Set Essex Alight
THURROCK Swimming Club participated at the first weekend of the Essex Age Group Championships. It was a fantastic weekend with many Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and top 10 finishes. All swimmers achieved personal best times and relay teams finished in the top 10.

Boys 9/10 team Will Minister, Markos Mouratidis, Tirenioluwa Ogundele, Kai Patel finished 8th in both the 4×50 free and medley relays. In the girls 4×50 free team Ava Bouchaud, Morolayo Akindele, Matilda White, Olamide Elemide-emis finished 10th overall. In the medley team, Mia Adamd replaced Matilda White and finished just outside the top 10.
Boys 13/14 Free team Nikita Charykin, Henry Dean, Daniel Boboye and Ben Minister came 5th.
Boys 15+ Ethan Martin, Jude Hills, Mide Olajide and Jimmy Taylor finished just outside of the top 8
Girls 15+ Michaela Taiwo, Bryony Edgings, Rebecca West and Tilly Mayes 4th 4×50 free team. Girls 13/14 team consisting of Priya Dhillon, Elise Delapperall, Jasmine Verlander and Eloise Bruce finished 3rd in the 4×50 free relay
