Report that river has “burst banks” at in Grays at the Wharf off Argent Street. Photos below sen tin by a reader who lives nearby.
AS a consequence of storm and tidal conditions tomorrow (Monday, 10 February) a flood warning has been issued.
It has been issued by the Environment Agency 11.45am and 1.45pm.
An advance notice of minor flooding is in place from Fobbing to Purfleet.
The warning says: “Please take care on costal roads and footpaths and do not put yourself in unnecessary danger.”
The Tilbury-Gravesend ferry service has already announced it will not run tomorrow.
