A VIRTUAL Big Brew, organised by the Parish of Langdon Hills, has helped raise money for St.Luke’s Hospice.
Each person taking part enjoyed a cup of their favourite drink while sharing chatter and laughter virtually, all while donating their two chosen charities: St. Luke’s Hospice and The Children’s Society.
Rector Colin Hopkinson of the Parish of Langdon Hills shared with us: “Congratulations to all those who participated in our virtual coffee morning.
“As well as raising vital funds in difficult times for these excellent charities this event brought together people in fellowship and mutual encouragement (and cake!) at a time when we most need to know that we are there for one another.”
St.Luke’s Hospice, Basildon said on their Facebook page: “Huge thanks to everyone for getting involved and making the effort to show your support – we really appreciate it.”
