Thurrock’s Treetops pupils present a song to get you dancing

PUPILS at Thurrock’s Treetops School have released another special video, and this they are encouraging everyone to have a dance.

The video, which can be viewed above, sees pupils dancing and signing along to the tune of Elton John’s hit “I’m Still Standing”.

Yesterday (Thursday 7 May), YourThurrock reported on the latest news video produced by teacher Owen Jefferies and colleagues to keep staff and pupils in touch throughout lockdown.

The dance video above and Treetops News, which is a weekly feature produced by teacher Owen Jefferies and colleagues, are great examples of how the staff and pupils at the Thurrock school have been able to keep up a sense of connection throughout lockdown.

YourThurrock this week also reported on some of the other pupils at the school, who are taking part in Superhero week.

Superhero Week started on Monday and the school have released a series of daily challenges with accompanying on their YouTube channel.

On Monday 4th May, the pupils were given the exciting task of making their very own masks.
