Man attacked with cricket bat in Grays

ESSEX Police are appealing for information after a man reported being struck by a cricket bat during an assault in Grays.

They are investigating reports the victim, a man in his 20s, was attacked in an address in Windsor Avenue at around 8.30pm on Tuesday 28 July.

He reported being hit on the head and to the arm and may have lost consciousness.

The suspect has been described as being Asian, aged in his late teens or early 20s, 5’4, of a skinny build and had short black hair. 

He was clean shaven and the cricket bat used in the attack had a blue handle.
