USP College launches new Degree Course
EXPANDING on the range of degree courses currently offered at the Seevic Campus, Benfleet, USP College will be running a two-year Business Degree commencing in September 2021.
The course will offer the opportunity for students to achieve a degree-level education within a local college environment.
Offered as a two-year Foundation Business Degree (level 4/5) with teaching over four days every week, it is the ideal route for those wishing to enter a management level role within a professional business setting. After successfully completing the course, students will have the opportunity to follow this with a further year of study to obtain a full BA (Hons) level 6 qualification.
The course, validated by the University of Hertfordshire, is structured to specifically equip individuals with the core skills and knowledge that are fundamental to advancing their careers. It places an emphasis on personal development and future employability whilst incorporating a work-based learning project.

This course is a great progression route for those who are leaving Sixth Form or College and is also a good way for adults to up-skill in the workplace or re-train. We focus on ensuring not only do our students get the qualification but they also get the relevant work-based skills that employers are looking for.’’
The College will be hosting a Higher Education Taster Session on Wednesday 11th November, 5.30-6.30pm. The event will enable prospective students to gain an insight in to what it is like to study the Business Degree. This course will benefit those looking to up-skill as well as those just leaving Sixth Form or College.

As a result of the detrimental effect that the current pandemic has had on the wider university system, the course provides an excellent opportunity for students to study a career-focussed degree course whilst remaining within their primary or family residence.
Simplifying the application process, USP College can confirm that application to the course will be direct from the college’s own website removing the requirement to
apply via UCAS.
