THURROCK BME, the representative organisation for the black and minority ethnic community within the borough has organised an online meeting for residents to interact with the police this week.
The meeting with divisional police chief Mark Barber will be an open discussion rather than the usual format for Thurrock BME online meetings and BME director Tunde Ojetola says: “Your views and comments will be appreciated.
“The objective is have an update from the Police since it has been over a year since a first meeting was held. This meeting will be about what has worked, what we as an organisation need to improve and how we can progress to reach out further.”
Residents wishing to register to take part can do so via email. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
The meeting will take place on Thursday, 11 November at 6pm.
