SIX Thurrock Harrier athletes competed in the Friday Night 5 mile road race which was an Essex Champion Race hosted by Springfield Striders.
Chris Applegate, Gary Rowlatt, Shawn Brown, Bernie Johnson, Gloria Bullen & Kathryn Spring all took part in the hilly, tough course.
County medals galore for Harrier athletes with Gloria Bullen winning county gold for her age category, Bernie Johnson and Kathryn Spring county bronze.
