CHILDREN from Horndon-on-the-Hill Primary School and Stanford-le-Hope Primary School visited the Council Chambers on Thursday 17th November.
They met the Mayor and took part in a debate on the topic: ‘ Your school has a £25K grant. The motion is that this should be spent on Sport and not Music’.
The children did an amazing job putting their ideas forward and after a thorough debate made their final votes, with PE winning the majority vote.
This was a fantastic experience for the children involved.
