Over the years, there has been a solid three Labour councillors but this was interrupted by Qaisar Abbas who won by 157 votes. He may have changed parties (from Labour to Tory) but he is a force of nature when it comes to campaigning .
The Conservative candidate this time is former mayor, Tunde Ojetola. Always a very good councillor in his time, this may be a challenging ward and a tricky time for a Tory to win this ward.
But you never know in this changing ward.
But Aaron Green is a promising young politician and he may be working hard along with the Labour team to land this ward.
Victoria Holloway won tis by just under 400 votes four years ago, and we imagine Labour will won by a couple of hundred again.
