
ESSEX Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Grays last night.
Officers were called to Chestnut Avenue shortly before 10pm on Friday, 30 June following reports of a boy being seriously assaulted.
The victim, a 15 year old boy sustained stab wounds to his leg and arm. Enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this stage.
It’s believed that the assault occurred shortly after a disturbance on Long Lane. Investigating officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything or have further information to get in contact.
