EAST Thurrock United suffered a heavy defeat against league leaders Heybridge Swifts on Saturday afternoon.
Goals by Ben Sartain (9′ and 68′), Rob Harvey (20′), Kieran Jones (53′) and Ross Wall (89′) secured all three points for Swifts.
East Thurrock’s scorer was Ayo Odukoya (46′).
The result leaves East Thurrock in 11th place, just one point off the play off places
They return to league action on Bank Holiday Monday at home against Brentwood Town.
