GRAYS search for a league win continued as they were held to a draw at home by Basildon United
Basildon opened the scoring on 17 minutes when Kye Jude got on the end of a long ball into the box from centre midfield and lofted a header past Danny Sambridge.
The equaliser came in the 49th minute when Rob Clark won the ball and cleverly threaded a pass through to Charlie Stimson who took it in his stride and calmly finished.
That proved to be the end of the scoring in front of a crowd of 282.
The result leaves Grays Ath second from bottom.
They return to league action on Saturday November 18th at home against Brentwood Town.
