AN updated suite of Essex County FA ‘Matchday Environment’ resources is available to download and share, encouraging everyone involved in grassroots football to #PlayYourPart in creating a welcoming, inclusive and positive experience.
During the development of the #MovingForward 2028 Strategy, participants highlighted a strong desire to improve the matchday experience. In response, the County FA have refreshed their #PlayYourPart materials, making them more engaging, accessible and easy to share. The new resources include animated videos and infographics.

Animated Videos: Five animated #PlayYourPart videos are live on YouTube, each voiced by well-known BBC Essex presenters who have proudly supported the campaign.
Infographics: Aligned with the videos, a set of clear, shareable infographics can be downloaded for use across social media, WhatsApp groups or printed for clubhouses, changing rooms and noticeboards.
Matchday Environment Pack: The updated pack brings together all the essential guidance from the previous version into a clearer, more streamlined format. It also includes the full set of infographics, helping clubs and participants to create the best environment possible on matchdays.
