Hassenbrook Academy teacher up for top award

A TEACHER at Stanford-le-Hope’s Hassenbrook Academy is in the running for a top award.

Mrs Samantha Toman has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Teacher of the Year in a Secondary School category in The Pearson National Teaching Awards 2024. 

School Principal Sally Fenney says: “We will be proudly celebrating Mrs Toman and all our colleagues on National Thank a Teacher Dayon 19 June when all the results will be announced. 

“We wish Mrs Toman the best of luck for judging.”
