TWO MEN were in custody this weekend following a high speed chase in Purfleet.
The alleged incident occurred at 6.50pm on Friday July 6th when a purple Kia Sportage failed to stop for police.
The vehicle was abandoned in Tank Hill Road, Purfleet and two men were seen to run off.
At 1930 hrs a man was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and failing to stop.
At 2030 hrs another male was arrested on suspicion of failure to stop and other offences.
