THREE men have been charged in connection with the robbery of a Royal Mail delivery driver in Fobbing.
The robbery happened on Thursday, December 6, in High Road, while a delivery driver was making deliveries. The van was recovered in Milton Road and a few days later three men were arrested.
A 32-year-old man from Grays has been charged with conspiring to steal a motor vehicle, aggravated vehicle taking and assault ABH.
A 29-year-old man from Tilbury has been charged with conspiring to steal a motor vehicle and aggravated vehicle taking, and a 20-year-old man from Tilbury has been charged with conspiring to steal a motor vehicle.
All three have been released on bail to appear at Basildon Magistrates Court on May 2.
