FOR the past six years Grays Town Park has been heaving with people enjoying the annual Big Lunch event in July.
And this year it will be bigger and better than ever.
Wednesday, 29 July will see Grays Town Park hosting The Big Local Lunch at the park between 11am and 3pm. Plus there will be a special appearance from the The Gruffalo.
The Gruffalo will be making personal appearances at intervals throughout the day. Visitors are being reminded to bring their camera for the chance to get a photo of the special guest, and a blanket to sit on to enjoy their picnic.
Everyone is welcome to come along and meet their neighbours.
Activities this year also include themed sports for all ages, climbing wall, arts and crafts, information stands, voluntary organisation stands and more.
