THE East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust received a call at 12.04pm yesterday (7th July) to Princess Margaret Road, East Tilbury, to a report of a man being injured by a falling piece of wood from a roof.
An ambulance crew, rapid response vehicle, ambulance officer, Essex Air Ambulance and EEAST’s Hazardous Area Response Team attended.
They treated a man in his late teens who had suffered serious chest, abdomen and back injuries.
He was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital for further treatment.
