NEW figures from the Bikeability Trust show that over 50,000 children in the East of England got pedalling with Bikeability cycle training between April 2022 and March 2023. The top performing authorities in the East of England for 2022–23 were Cambridgeshire, Southend On Sea and Essex. Across England (excluding London), 461,886 pupils received Bikeability training between April 2022 and March 2023, with 50,382 of those children living in the East of England.
