Thurrock Javelin thrower Hayley Thomas grabbed fourth place at the World Athletics Trial in Birmingham today (Sunday).
Ranked fifth in Britain last year, Hayley has her eye on the prize of one of the three places in 2012.
Newham and Essex Beagle, Hayley threw 49.18 metres just behind Olympian Goldie Sayers.
