A scoreline that slightly flattered the home side but an enjoyable evening for all concerned.
The Daggers fielded an academy side but did trial former Grays player Glen Poole who Daggers fans are hoping will be signed and join former team mate Stuart Thurgood. Also great to see former Grays boss Wayne Burnett on duty for Dagenham as he’s now working with John Still and Terry Harris
Aveley fielded two teams and performed well together as this is a team who have changed vastly since the euphoric days at the end of last season when they won promotion
