Here at yourthurrock we love a singer songwriter. That’s because we respect the talent and the passion that goes into the process. Steve O’Kane fits into that category nicely. Accompanied by long term partner Fiona McBain there songs are cleverly crafted and delivered with sincerity.
We have come across these two twice in a week. Firstly at Rainham Hall and then at the Havering Show. Both local musicians the latter venue was a big gig for them and one they looked forward to.
For whatever reason their set was hampered by a fault with a sound desk and they had to work hard to keep control. Which they managed admirably.
I think we will hear a lot more from these two in the future and we will be listening.
