The highly successful container terminal, Tilbury Container Services (TCS), held a unique open day for employees, contractors, family and friends last Saturday. During the day, guests were treated to an extra special tour around the entire TCS terminal.
Further to the generosity of the day, members of TCS presented cheques worth £5,000 to seven chosen charities. These charities included Little Havens Hospice, St Luke’s Hospice, Essex Air Ambulance, Sugarloaf Ridings, the Glen Daly and Olivia Trust Fund, RNLI Southend-on-Sea and Centre for Seafarers.
Business Development Manager, James Leeson, took the time to talk to YourThurrock about how they were able to provide this remarkable act of kindness.
