IT has been some months since the initial opening meeting for the GAFC 1890 Trust but work has been progressing behind the scenes with the formal registration process being completed with Supporters Direct and the setup of bank accounts.
The Trust working group is now pleased to announce that the Trusts “Official Launch” will be held on Sunday 11th October at the GAFC clubhouse starting at 7pm. As part of the event there will be guest speakers Ex Grays footballer Lee Matthews & Grays Councillor John Kent in attendance.
At the end of the event they will look to distribute Membership Forms to all attendees and start to sign up members. The Trust is designed to be inclusive and affordable for all its members and with this in mind they have the following annual membership pricing structure;
Family Membership £10 (2 Adults and unlimited children within one residential address)
Adult Membership £5
Child Membership £1 (under 16)
Once the formal part of the launch is completed, they will then look to hold a The 1890 Quiz at 8pm. Entry fee for the quiz will be £2 per person with a maximum of 10 tables of 6 people.
