Eleven-Year-Old Faces Trial Over Theft

AN ELEVEN-YEAR-OLD child alleged to have stolen from a Grays supermarket is set to face trial next month.

Presiding magistrate, Judge David Cooper hoped that things could be kept simple for the kids but the child’s lawyer insisted that as her client was innocent, her case must be heard.

The child, who cannot be named for legal reasons will return to Grays Youth Court on the 18th December.
