Be Safe, Be Seen

This year’s Thurrock Council road safety Be Safe Be Seen campaign was aimed at four- to 11-year-olds and their parents, reminding them that as the clocks have gone back and the days are shorter they must take extra care when out and about near roads.

The Thurrock Counci/Europa road safety team ran a competition for the campaign at two local supermarkets and invited the winners to the Civic Offices in Grays on Thursday (19 November).

There were ten winners, and five came along to the Civic Offices to be presented with their prizes of a reflective and fluorescent road safety pack by the Mayor of Thurrock, Cllr Maureen Pearce.
