Police are appealing for information following a collision last week, Tuesday, December 8 at about 5.15pm on the London track of the A13 between the Manorway, Corringham and the A128 Orsett Cock .
A blue Ford Focus appears to have changed lanes, moving to the right, into the path of a black Yamaha R1 motorcycle and the bike collided with the rear of the car.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 27 year old man from Dagenham, suffered a fractured wrist and other minor injuries and attended Basildon Hospital. The driver of the Focus failed to stop and left the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the crash or anyone who has any information about damage to a blue Ford Focus. Anyone who can help is asked to contact Pc Paul Downes at the road policing unit at Laindon on 0300 333 4444.
