Year in Review: September

ONCE AGAIN the Orsett Show didn’t let good people of Thurrock down as it had something for everyone. Indeed the month of september is very much like that.

The Gateway Academy had it’s official opening; Peter Andre appeared at Lakeside; we found out more about the bereavement service at West and Coe. Myles Cook started blogging for us on mental health.

We found out the Mayor’s were keen on attending the Church of Scientology’s annual ball but that wasn’t as mysterious as the circumstances surrounding the building of West Thurrock, Tudor Court and Ockendon schools. The council launched their ambitious Recycle-1-2-3 campaign

We discovered a Milk Museum in Stanford

We interviewed Miss Galaxy UK, Hayley Mac and found her to be a true star and ambassador for the borough.

St Chads burnt down whilst in Stanford they discovered a fascinating archeological find down at DP World.
