A YOUTH admitted to his “stupidity” after riding pillion on a motorbike without a helmet which subsequently crashed.
Appearing at Grays Youth Court, the 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted that on December 13th last year, he was a passenger on a yellow Suzuki motorcycle on Chadwell Road, Grays when it swerved to avoid another vehicle and crashed.
The youth admitted to presiding magistrate, Paul Brandis that since the incident: “The probation service have turned my life around”. He informed the court that he was working towards an apprenticeship.
He received a three month referral order.
