YOU can really tell that MP for Basildon South and East Thurrock is relishing the challenge of defending her seat.
On saturday morning, Angela was campaigning, with her parents, in Pitsea Market, where she is hoping to pick up a large number of votes.
She then dashed across to a coffee morning in Horndon before getting out on the streets of the village, where key challenges lay.
Angela is encouraged by what she is hearing from the doorstep and believes there are people out there who have not voted Labour before but will be doing this time.
Angela’s strengths clearly are that she can call upon the big hitters but also have the soft skills to sit at the coffee morning in Horndon and address the very very local issues that concern the people of Thurrock.
