Police are appealing for information following the assault of a man in Grays on August 26.
A 60-year-old local man was assaulted at 10pm while in a slightly wooded area which leads from Mill Lane to Mayflower Road.
It is believed three men in dark clothing are responsible. Two of them may have been wearing sand coloured boots.
The man was treated in hospital for minor injuries and later released.
