TRAIN mean but train clean. That is the message that is re-inforced at Stan’s Gym on the Aveley Road in Upminster. The gym, ticked away from the main road is a harkback to a different era but also a sanctuary for those who want their muscle development simply to be borne from good old fashioned hard work.
Last week we spoke to Stan about why his faith is so important. He is one of those personalities where you end up filming a series of pieces. The key part of the gym is the message of drug free. Stan recalls good men who have succumbed to the temptation of the quick fix and implores young and old who want to train clean to come to his gym.
