THE ROTARACT club in Thurrock are now officially chartered within the rotary family.
“My thanks goes to our four sponsoring rotary clubs: Grays Thurrock, Stanford and Corringham, Corringham Thameside and Mardyke Valley. Their advice and support is invaluable.
“It is important to build a rapport with them and build bonds. This enables us to work together to make the impossible dream a living reality.
“Over the past year we have raised close to £3000 for various charities through quiz nights, selling candy floss whilst hosting the raffle at the Horndon Feast and Fayre plus being the organisers of the Marie Curie Daffodil for Grays but most memorably posing in a charity calendar!The calendar tells our story about what we have been involved in throughout the year.
“I can guarantee that it will bring a smile to peoples faces this christmas!! Our chosen charity this year was St.Lukes Hospice
“We are a passionate and dynamic club with determination to make a difference within the community locally and internationally.”
