Christmas ASBO Taylor-made for Aaron

AARON Taylor (18), of Broxburn Drive, South Ockendon, has been given an Anti-social Behaviour Order following a year of incidents including abuse of residents, people working in the area and the police.

The order was made at Grays Magistrates Court on Friday 17th December 2010  and bans Taylor from a number of areas including Derwent Parade, Lidl and Tesco Express in South Ockendon as well as McDonalds in Lakeside Retail Park.

The court heard Taylor has regularly verbally abused shop staff, police officers and Police Community Support Officers including using racist language.

The two-year order also bans Taylor from associating with five specific youths, congregating in groups and possessing alcohol in an open container in a public place.

Thurrock Council’s portfolio holder for Crime and Disorder, Councillor Gerard Rice said: “By taking a strong stance against Anti-social Behaviour we are sending out a message that we will not tolerate it. It is unacceptable for people living and working in our borough to be subjected to this kind of abuse and we will continue to do everything we can to stamp it out.”
