YES, you have read that correctly: 16 GCSE’s! On Thursday night, Daria attended the Ormiston Park Academy, Presentation Evening to pick up the award for Outstanding Student of the Year.
As Deputy Head Huw Derrick said: “I scoured the papers and couldn’t find another student in the country that had done as well as Daria.”
But what was also significant at the evening was the spontaneous standing ovation that Daria received from the audience.
That says a lot about everyone involved with Ormiston Park Academy and augurs well for the future.
