Thurrock Council’s Community Protection Team is appealing for help in tracking down a fly tipper who dumped rubbish in a Grays alleyway.
The rubbish left behind Arthur Street contains some fairly unique items which may help track down the person who left it there.
The black and blue rubble bags are thought to have been left overnight Sunday to Monday May 22nd to 23rd. They contained a variety of rubbish, a draw from a bedside cabinet and a number of unique white ceramic decorations (pictured).
Thurrock Council Head of Public Protection Manager Lucy Magill said: “Dumping rubbish in our alleyways is not acceptable and we will continue to work to stop fly tipping and prosecute those responsible for ruining our communities. I am sure that someone will recognise these items found in Arthur Street and help us to continue cracking down on fly tipping.”
Anyone with information about this fly tip can call the Community Protection Team on 01375 652211.
Householders are reminded that if they pay an unlicensed carrier to take waste away they are committing an offence. They can be prosecuted for this as well as for a separate offence if rubbish found dumped is traced back to them.
