A FEW MONTHS ago we featured the campaign for more facilities at Wickham Park in Chadwell St Mary.
On Monday afternoon, Essex Police in partnership with the council and local residents are holding a sports afternoon between 2pm and 4pm.
There will be rounders, football and other sports. The organisers will provide refreshment and it will be 50p to enter the games.
The whole afternoon is part of a big push to get more equipment in the park and there will be opportunities to sign petitions to take the campaign forward.
