TWELVE Thurrock taxis have been seized and a further six served with prohibition notices as part of an ongoing operation around suspected illegal money lending and theft.
The multi-agency operation involves the England Illegal Money Lending Team, Thurrock Council Trading Standards and Licensing and Essex Police.
The vehicles were seized and notices issued on Thursday July 28th.
A 60-year-old man has been arrested and bailed in connection with the investigation.
