CCTV footage released of KFC robbery in Grays

Police have released CCTV images of two suspects they wish to speak to in connection with a robbery at KFC , Grays High Street.

At 9.50pm on Sunday, July 10, two suspects allegedly entered the store and jumped over the counter before demanding money from a male worker in his 40s. They then stole what is thought to be a four-figure sum of cash.

Investigating officer, Pc Nick May, said: “These CCTV frames show two men that we want to speak to about the robbery. We have released them in the hope that someone may recognise their distinctive clothing. If you do know who they are, I appeal to you to come forward to us. Thankfully the workers were uninjured, but it would have been very frightening for them. We need to find out who these men are.”

The first suspect was a white man, wearing ankle-length grey trousers and a grey hoodie with red writing on the front. The second suspect was also a white man, wearing blue jeans and a green shell suit top.
