Batman dropped in at the Civic Hall, Blackshots to meet up with Mayor of Thurrock, Cllr Charlie Curtis just before Christmas.
Impulse Leisure held their annual quiz in November and raised a load of money for the mayor’s charities.
Cllr Curtis arranged for the Bat Signal to flash a message to the Caped Crusader and the pair met to hand over the cheque for £484 to be split between Little Haven’s Children’s Hospice and the Royal British Legion.
Cllr Curtis said: “I would like to thank everyone who took part in this event and the organisers for thinking of my charities. I can assure everyone that the money will be going to excellent local causes.”
And Batman — who cannot be named for security reasons — added: “This is always a great event and I would like to thank all our supporters for taking part.”
