New Rotary Club set to open

A NEW Rotary Club in Thurrock is set to open at the end of the month.

As an introduction for prospective new members, they are holding our inaugural meeting at the Park Inn Hotel, Nth. Stifford, Grays, RM16 5UE, on the 30th January at 7pm.

They would like to invite anyone (Rotary is not only for men, as many people still think), who may have an interest in meeting informally, to discuss not only business, but also the wider community, both locally and internationally.

You may be in business, a housewife or retired; Rotary has a lot to offer to a huge cross section of society. The meeting will be informal and is designed to illustrate what Rotary is doing locally and around the world.

One of Rotary’s beginnings was business development. Everyone needs to network; Rotary consists of a cross-section of every business community, and people who may just have a little time to give back to their community.

Rotarians help each other and collectively help others, thus harnessing together similarly minded local people, enabling mutually beneficial business interaction and networking.
