ON THE 25th January at approximately 8am (school run time!) a Birman cat Alfie was killed by two Alsatian type dogs roaming Brandon Groves. One was WHITE while the other was tan.
According to reports, a neighbour doing the school run with her two children stopped her car to help Alfie but she was intimidated and frightened as the dogs growled and circled the car. Another neighbour was also forced to run back into his property fearing for his safety.
We need the community of Brandon Groves to work together to ensure everyone’s safety.
Under the Dangerous Dogs Act it is a criminal offence to;
*Allow your dog to roam freely without an owner.
*Have your dog out of control in a public place.
*Allow someone under the age of 16 to be in charge of a dog without the owner.
